The Art Arsenal is the flagship Ukrainian cultural institution that integrates various types of art in its activities — from contemporary art, new music and theater to literature and museum work. The mission of the Art Arsenal is to promote the modernization of Ukrainian society and the integration of Ukraine into the world context, based on its valuable potential cultural reality.For this purpose: to raise topical social issues; to establish productive contacts with the international community; to acquaint with outstanding phenomena of artistic and intellectual culture, stimulating their Development.In the projects of the Art Arsenal, issues that are important for society are raised and debated, space is provided for free creation regarding the future and understanding of the past. The Art Arsenal serves as a platform for interaction with the global cultural community through collaborative cultural projects.The Art Arsenal integrates and develops different arts and cultural practices. Integration occurs through laboratory directions-laboratories that constantly interact with each other. In this way, different arts develop and enrich each other, and artistic and professional communities find points of intersection and mutual reinforcement. Currently, the Literary Laboratory operates within the Art Arsenal. All projects of the Art Arsenal have a strong educational component. Arsenal acts as a mediator between specialists and the general public — explains and tells about cultural and social phenomena, their causes and trajectories. It is a platform for education and interaction for diverse audiences: adult visitors, children and adolescents, artists and cultural workers.On the territory of the Art Arsenal there is a Small Gallery, which presents young Ukrainian art, as well as chamber projects of leading domestic artists.Since 2005, the Arsenal has become a cultural and artistic institution.
