The exposition presents about 300 icons of the late XV - early XX centuries and masterpieces of the Ukrainian folk artist Maria Primachenko. Another hall hosts exhibitions of paintings and sculptures of modern masters.
The collection of icons covers one hundred common iconographic plots, many iconographic images of the Virgin. There are several plots whose creation was influenced by the development of Western European art, such as The Coronation of the Virgin Mary. The collection contains a large number of images of Jesus Christ. The most common image, which depicts the Savior, next to the Virgin Mary, and on the other hand - the holy prophet John the Baptist. Many icons are dedicated to various fragments from the “Life of Saints”. Among the images of the great martyrs are images of St. Barbara, Paraskeva and St. Catherine.
