The creators of the Museum of One Street have been trying to uncover the secrets of Andreyevsky Uzzo for many years. Miniature in size, but deep in content, the museum is one of the most attractive tourist places in Kiev. The rich exposition is full of historical documents, manuscripts, autographs, vintage postcards, photographs and a significant number of vintage household items. Exploring the museum, visitors immerse themselves in the atmosphere of historical nostalgia, as if traveling in a time machine.The collection of the Museum of One Street is dedicated to the history of Andriyevsky Uzzo and its outstanding inhabitants. The main place of the exposition is devoted to interesting cases, stories and urban fables about the houses of Adrievski uzzo and about their famous owners.Several museum showcases tell about St. Andrew's Church, Richard the Lion's Heart Castle and other buildings of Hadrievsky uzzo. Associated with the mystical legend of ghosts, Richard's Castle has attracted Ukrainian artists since the beginning of the twentieth century — F. Krasytskogo, G. Dyadchenko, I. Makushenko and sculptor F. Balavensky. The museum has a unique collection of their artistic works.Ukrainian philologist P. Zhitsky, Arabist and professor of the Kyiv Theological Academy T. Kezma, journalist and social figure A. Savenko, Ukrainian writer G. The tobacconist lived in house number 34 in different periods of the twentieth century. Memorable things that belonged to the above-mentioned people, as well as teachers of the Kiev Theological Academy A. Bulgakov, S. Golubev, P. Kudryavtsev, F. Titova, A. Glagolev, the famous doctors T. Yanovsky, and D. Popova, as well as other prominent personalities, make up the most valuable part of the museum collectionIn 2002, the One Street Museum became a nominee of the European Museum Forum, an international organization under the auspices of the Council of Europe and under the patronage of Queen Fabiola of Belgium. The museum was the first and only one among Ukrainian museums to participate in this forum.
