Museum of the History of Veterinary Medicine

The Museum of the History of Veterinary Medicine is a rather specific attraction, compared to all other museums in Kiev, because it contains quite rare exhibits that can interest historians conducting research in this field, or people with the profession of a veterinarian.

The most frequent visitors to this monument of history and culture are NAAS students, since it is in order to get a profession in the future that they not only need to know modern drugs and devices, but also their historical ancestors. Also very useful information for motivating young people is collected information about highly respected veterinarians of the last century. Thus, the Institute annually arranges excursions to visit exhibitions, as well as independent visits are conducted by students to find material on the received task.

The museum has several halls, each of which has its own theme. For example, one of them preserved photographs and collected biographies of the most famous veterinarians. The archive also contains some of the works of certain personalities, the most famous, although located in the hall, as it is one of the most popular and interesting exhibits. In the next hall, any of the visitors will be able to examine in detail the tools previously used by veterinarians, near each of the exhibits there is a detailed description, as well as the characteristics and period of use of a particular device.
