The National Center of Folk Culture “Ivan Honchar Museum” is an open cultural and artistic institution of educational, scientific and recreational type, which promotes the continuity of experience and knowledge in the field of traditional folk culture by its activities. In modern society, the museum is the custodian of the past and the starting point of a new vision and thinking, which together are active factors in the creation of the future. The museum was created on the basis of ethnographic collection and on the basis of the socio-cultural activity of Ivan Honchar. Our mission: Building a society that values, preserves and multiplies Ukrainian cultural heritage and modern forms of traditional folk culture for the future.
