Museum in Kyiv, which tells about the events of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917—1921. Department of the National Museum of History of Ukraine.The museum is housed in the building of the Ukrainian Central Council (now Kyiv City Teacher's House on ul. Vladimirskaya, 57 (former Pedagogical Museum), on the second floor. Within the walls of this house was the Ukrainian Central Council. However, due to the restoration of the Teacher's House, since 2020 the museum has been temporarily transferred to the main building of the National Museum of History of Ukraine (ul. Vladimirskaya, 2) [1]. After the start of Russia's major military invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, the museum exposition was dismantled and the museum artifacts moved to a safe place. The exposition of the museum covers historical objects and documents from the beginning of the 20th century, the days of the UNR, the ZUNR, the Ukrainian State, the Directorate of the UNR, the First and Second Winter Trips of the UNR. The center of the exposition is the Fourth Universal of the Central Council, which declared full state independence of the UNR on January 22, 1918. The exhibits reflect all stages of the development of the statesmanlike movement of the beginning of the 20th century, the creation and activity of the Ukrainian Central Council, the government — the General Secretariat, later the People's Ministries, the UNR Army, and the unique complexes of General M. Kapustyansky, Colonels E. Konovalets, and R. Sushka.A separately highlighted exposition about Heroes of Krut.Next is an exposition about the Ukrainian State of Hetman Skoropadsky. The following blocks are about the UNR Directorate headed by S. Petliura, then stands with materials about the West-Ukrainian People's Republic. Emphasis is placed on the Act of Zluka, adopted on January 22, 1919 by the Ukrainian parliament — the Congress of the Working People of Ukraine. The diplomatic activities of that day were widely covered. Exposition of maps of Ukraine, issued in 1917—1920 both in Ukraine and in other European countries, a large format physical map of Ukraine of 1918 is presented separately. Reconstructed military units of the UNR Army, Ukrainian Galician Army, Sich Riflets, presented to the Museum by the director of the publishing house “Temm” Pora” Yu. Oliynyk, and Y. Tynchenko and supplemented by V. Kutsenko and D. Tar. There are exhibits showing the celebration in 1914 of the century T. Shevchenko, documents of the Ukrainian community of St. Petersburg (1917), personal belongings and documents of the colonel of the Sich Riflemen E. Konovalets, General M. Kapustyansky, Colonel R. Sushka, Lieutenant-Colonel T. Netrebbe, exhibits highlighting the diplomatic activities of 1918—1925.
