Museum “Literary Pridniproviya”

The Museum “Literary Transnistria” is located in a mansion built at the beginning of the 19th century, and known in the city as the House of Inzov. On the map of Ekaterinoslav in 1806, the building was already marked. This house was originally home to the Trustees Committee of the Colonists of the Southern Territory. In memory of the chairman of this committee, General Inzov, residents of the city still call the building “House of Inzov”. Alexander Pushkin visited this house during his exile in May-June 1820; in 1910 Mikhail Svetlov studied at the four-class city school, which was also located in this building [1]; a little later Valeriyan Podmogilny taught mathematics at the school named after him.
