Berezan Museum of Local Lore is a local history museum in the city of Berezani, Kyiv region, an interesting collection of materials and objects from ethnography and culture of eastern Kyiv region, city cultural and educational center. The museum of local lore in the city of Berezani was inaugurated in 1975. A particularly great contribution to the creation of a permanent museum exposition was made by the director of the institution Rykh Galina Lavrentyevna, who has not changed since its foundation. Among the persons who served in the formation of the local history museum in Berezan, it is worth noting the name of the folk craftsman Bushli Andriy Egorovich, whose hands created a significant number of museum exhibits, in particular in the sections of natural and Shevchenko studies. Now it is a significant cultural center of Berezan. Zani, where a variety of city events are often held. Thus, every year in December, theatrical evenings are held on the basis of the museum [nature room — recreates the diversity of local flora and fauna; room of life — tells about traditional crafts, demonstrates folk tools; room T. G. Shevchenko (“Shevchenko's Photo”) — here are collected, mostly made by folk craftsmen, works from the Shevchenkian cycle; the room of the 1930s is one of the newly updated expositions, which now focuses on the tragedy of the given period, in particular, highlights the subject Holodomor 1932—33 years; the room of folk art — presents handicrafts of folk craftsmen, as well as gifts from sister cities and other countries. An interesting exhibit is a woven towel 6 meters long; the exposition of the Assumption Cathedral of Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra; numismatics room — here you can see money from many countries of the world; room of battle glory — tells about the Second World War; exhibition hall — exhibitions of local and visitors are periodically organized here of other artists.
