Dubni is one of the oldest castles in Ukraine, which until now bears the features of the Middle Ages (strict walls, dungeons with vaults) and ceremonial style (stucco halls). Dubno Castle was never taken by attack, as it was firmly fortified with 73 guns and reliably protected by the Ikva River with its many kilometers of floods.Tatar spears and Swedish sabers broke under the castle walls. Innumerable riches of trophies were kept here: precious utensils, books, paintings, icons, weapons and protective weapons, furs, etc. Today Dubno Castle is the decoration of the region and one of the seven wonders of Ukraine.
