In 1987, the museum was reorganized into an urban one and housed in a separate building on Sadovaya Street, and Anatoly Ivanovich Zborovsky was invited to the post of director of the museum (he graduated from the historical faculty of the Kyiv State Pedagogical Institute named after him in 1980. At the end of the 2000s, a conflict situation arose in Turkey in the museum institution, when the local authorities accused the museum director of the museum of insufficient coverage of historical events in the “spirit of the times”, problems with re-exposition and even the emergency condition of the premises, which in fact created significant difficulties for the normal functioning of the institution [2]. The situation received publicity in a number of media. Even the implementation in 2009, in particular, thanks to the efforts in finding sponsorship funds by the deputy (from BYT) of the Irpin City Council, the responsible secretary of the Commission for the Preservation of the Cultural and Historical Heritage of the Irpin City Council Lyudmila Grigorivna Yankova, repair work in the premises The construction of the institution did not resolve the conflict [3]. However, the Irpin Historical and Local History Museum has renewed the existing exposition and a partial re-exposition has been carried out, the staff includes the necessary position of the chief fund keeper of the museum institution (Elena Gennadievna Plaksina).
