Kakhovka
Velyka Kulykovska street, 140
In the Kakhovsky Historical Museum there is a separate exposition dedicated to Kakhovka-participants of the Second World War. Here you can see the diagram of the battles for Kahovka, the personal belongings of those who defended our city from the Nazis and those who laid down their lives during its liberation. Here is the Kakhov School No. 2, which was saved in September 1941 by the German anti-fascist soldier Josef Henning, and which his family returned to the school at the end of the war. Here is the ceremonial uniform and checkerboard of the Kakhovchanian, Colonel I. Fadeev, a participant in the Victory Parade in 1945. Here is a light and elegant dress made of black crepe, which was sewn overnight for a festive reception in honor of the Victory by a participant in the Battle of Stalingrad, fighting on the Mius front, for the liberation of Donbas and battles for Kakhovka Vera Filipchenko. Here, every thing is an incredible story of an unbreakable spirit that is enveloped in pain, hope, and faith in victory. In addition to traditional excursions, the museum's researchers offer their visitors interactive activities and quests.
