It has 40 thousand exhibits. The exposition of the museum tells about the development of the literary process of the Precarpathian region from the most ancient times to the present. Lviv antiquities of the 17th century, manuscripts, personal belongings of writers of different times, which are mentioned in the exposition of the museum, life editions of the works of Ivan Franko, Bohdan Lepp Vasyl Stefanik, Lesya Martovych, Mark Cheremshina, Natalia Kobrinska, Mykhaila Yatskiv, Olga Duchyminska and other writers, materials about the activities of the Stanislav Lithobiry and the regional organization of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine are the most valuable museum exhibits.Also developed in the Literary Museum of the Prikarpathian Shevchenko and Franko themes.The museum maintains working relations with writers and cultural and educational figures of the Ukrainian diaspora of the USA and Canada, Great Britain and Slovakia, with writers from Uzbekistan, Romania and Poland Shishy.
