The Lugansk Regional Art Museum is located in a historic two-storey building. The museum house, built in 1876, was at the end of the 19th — early 20th centuries the house of the Venderovichs, famous Luhansk industrialists and merchants, but later underwent destruction and further (in the middle of the 20th century) reconstructions, changed as a result compared to the original appearance to unrecognizability.
