Lviv Toy Museum

Lviv Toy Museum is a place for the whole family.

“Mom, will I grow up soon? I want to be so big!” Each of us asked such questions to mom or dad and dreamed of becoming an adult as soon as possible. And, probably, each of us would very much like to return to a good, carefree childhood. Even for a day, even for an hour...

And today we have dedicated our museum to our childhood. Here you will find beautiful, tear-touching toys and things that remind you of a happy childhood, memories of the past and a carefree life.

To tell the truth, there are not so many museums open in Lviv, which open their doors specifically for young visitors and their parents.

And, nevertheless, one of them is devoted to this topic.

We are talking about the NGO “Lviv Toy Museum.”

Favorite doll, designer, donated by parents, these things remained in your memory. You probably didn't expect to ever see them again.

Here you can see all the diversity of the toy world of that time: technical and design toys, dolls, figurines, soft toys, a unique collection of board games, services, headsets and rare machines...

The museum has more than 4,000 pieces of exhibits. At the moment, the exposition presents more than 700 items from the four thousandth collection of the museum. Address of the museum: st. Trade 15.

The museum was created on the basis of the collection of the Lviv collector Pavel Ivanovich Morozovsky, who for several decades collected and continues to collect an amazing collection of dolls and toys of the Soviet period and Europe.

These toys were played by more than one generation of children, and today they occupy an honorable place in the exposition and return adults, at least for an hour, to their distant childhood, and modern children can see what children of past generations played when there were no computers.

Good and bright dolls remained only in collections and memories, and the museum is the only place where today you can at least see such toys.

Here, old toys got a chance for a second life.”
