Mission of KZ KOR “Memorial Museum of K. G. Stetsenko” — popularization of the figure and creative work of the outstanding Ukrainian composer K. G. Stetsenka, Ukrainian history and culture.The village of Veprik of Fastivsky district in Kyiv region is located above the picturesque, once full-flowing, and now overgrown with reeds, quiet river Kirsha. An outstanding Ukrainian composer, conductor, choirmaster, author of songs, choirs, cantatas and opera tales for children, archpriest of the UAOC, teacher, music critic, public figure Kyrylo Grigorovich Stetsenko lived and worked here in 1920 — 1922. Memorial Museum of K. G. Stetsenka began his story from the museum-room at the Veprytsky House of Culture, which was organized by a local enthusiast, poet, paramedic, public figure, former political prisoner V. AND. Kosovsky in 1969. At the request of V. AND. Kosovsky, the Union of Composers and the Ukrainian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments to the 100th anniversary of the birth of K. G. Stetsenko in 1982 in the village. The house where he lived in 1920 — 1922 was restored in Veprik and a memorial museum was formed in it. In 1990 it became a department of the Belotserkov Museum of Local Lore, and in 1997 it received the status of a separate institution under the subordination of the Fastiv district department of culture. 10 years later, in 2007, it received the status of a regional museum.Installation of a tombstone on the grave of the composer in the village. The Veprick on May 10, 1956 was the first official commemoration. In October 1970, it was replaced by a monument to the work of the famous Ukrainian sculptor G. N.D. Kalchenko.Acquaintance with the museum begins with the cozy courtyard of the estate, which is shrouded in vines of fruit trees and sprawling red viburna.The real decoration of the museum's exterior is the relief K. G. Stetsenko, set to the 110th anniversary of the composer's birth (auto. A. A. Drevetsky). Through a small veranda we get to an unusual place — the kitchen of a Ukrainian cottage of the beginning of the twentieth century. Opposite the door is a white stove with a couch and all kinds of kitchen utensils: cats, pots, pots, makitras. An old buffet and a hunter with dishes from the beginning of the last century, a large home-made table, at which a rather large family gathered, on the corner there is an icon of the holy martyr Paraskeva. The arrangement of the kitchen, furniture, dishes, various agricultural tools, embroidered towels on the portraits create a unique atmosphere a completely different, some unreal world. It was in this room that Kirill Grigorievich once taught village children musical literacy at the roaring light of the Kagan. The exposition continues in the living room, a cozy room with a large black piano. Behind the window there are photos that tell about the first steps of Cyril's life. Further, the exposition presents the difficult life path of Kirill Grigorovich — work in Kyiv, Bila Tserkva, Tyvrov and Golovo-Rusava. The composer's creative achievements in these periods are confirmed by the publications presented in the exposition. Above the piano are portraits of prominent figures of Ukrainian culture. It depicts Kirill Grigorovich in one of the happiest periods when he lived and worked in Kyiv.The review continues in the next room, the exposition of which tells about the Kyiv period in the composer's life — revolutionary events, his huge creative activity in the development of the Ukrainian state, the creation of the Ukrainian Republican Republic chapels, two traveling chapels, a symphony orchestra, a music publishing house and a music collection. This hall also highlights the period of activity of K. G. Stetsenko, the photos show the activities of the people of the village in Prosvit, artistic self-activity circles and other important historical events of the village. One of the sections of the exposition acquaints visitors with the preservation of the memory of Kirill Grigorovich, modern achievements of stenography, rare musical editions of the composer's works, books about him by famous writers and art historians. The sculptural image of K. Stetsenka (auto. M. A. Dmitriv), which organically fits into the exposition and vividly conveys the composer's creative charisma. The exposition continues in the bedroom, where the life of the Ukrainian rural intelligentsia of the 20s of the last century is objectively recreated. In the interior, a round table with an openwork tablecloth, a kerosene lamp, a bookcase with books, old chairs, beds covered with simple home-woven rows, a chest and icons, which, according to legend, belonged to the Stetsenko family. Complement the interior bust of K. G. Stetsenka (auto. — I. M. Pottery) and a layout of the composer's estate in the s.
