Taranenko “The Evolution of Cosmogony”, in which the nature of human thinking at the main stages of the development of its worldview is transmitted. Painting of the first bath: a model of the world at an early stage of human development, “when god was the Sun”. In the center of the circle is one of the oldest images of the solar disk with the sign of time and eternity. The basis of the composition is a sequential series of squares inscribed in a circle, symbolizing the multi-tiered arrangement of the sky. At the edge of the celestial arch are the signs of the Zodiac (the oldest known image of the constellations). According to astrologers, each of the constellations, depending on the date of birth, influenced the fate of a person throughout life. The central dome highlights, according to the author of the paintings, the clash of two worldviews: religious and scientific, emerging. The church vault splits, behind it a cosmic abyss is visible. The religious worldview is replaced by the Galileo-Kepler cosmogonic model. The figures of scientists, philosophers, theologians are depicted in a circle. In the third dome, the artist depicted the figure of an astronaut against the background of a mathematical model, in which a globe depicted from space is embedded. The author once again wanted to draw attention to the enormous responsibility of man for the fate of life on Earth. The exposition shows the exhibition “Icons of the Holy Great Martyr Barbara from the stock collection of NIEZ “Pereyaslav”.
