The Museum of Metropolitan Andrew Sheptytsky is the only museum of Andrei Sheptytsky in Ukraine and the diaspora, which was created in the Markian Shashkevych House, adjacent to Lviv Secondary School No. 34, on the initiative of the Honored Teacher of Ukraine Igor Fetich Clergy and support of the clergy and governing bodies.

By the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 353 dated June 13, 2005, the museum was awarded the title “Exemplary Museum”. The school named after Markian Shashkevich is closely related to the name of Metropolitan Andrew Sheptytsky. It was thanks to the Metropolitan that the first Ukrainian public school was created in Lviv, Sheptytsky took care of this educational institution for more than 40 years.

On the initiative of Honored Teacher of Ukraine Igor Fedyk, with the support of the clergy and the governing bodies, the only museum of Andrei Sheptytsky in Ukraine and the diaspora was opened. The Metropolitan Andrei Sheptytsky Museum was opened in 1992, but the official registration of the museum took place on February 4, 2005.

The exposition of the museum consists of the following sections:

• “The young years of Metropolitan Andrew. Sheptytsky Family”
• “Beginning of religious, social, charismatic and educational activities of the Servant of God Metropolitan Andrew Sheptytsky”
• “Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky and children”
• “The Church of the Shootings”
• “The last years of life and activity of Metropolitan Andrew”,
• “Documents and Books of Metropolitan Andrew”
• “Materials about the life and activities of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky. Portrait of Metropolitan Andrew”
The museum also contains many exhibits and documents relating to the life and activities of Metropolitan Andrew.

In addition to daily excursions, the museum hosts themed evenings, literary and artistic events, annual celebrations for the Day of Remembrance of the Metropolitan. The museum has a reading room in which students, school teachers, students and teachers of Lviv higher education institutions work.
