Museum-panorama dedicated to the liberation of Proskurov (since 1954 — m. Khmelnitsky) from German troops on March 25, 1944 during the Proskuriv-Chernivtsi operation. Artists Vladislav Masykov [1] and Vladimir Volkov painted and mounted the circular picturesque canvas during 1986—1988. The panorama is contained in a specially built room for her, belonging to the Khmelnytsky Palace of Creativity of Children and Youth.Panorama “Liberation of Proskurov” is one of the two picturesque panoramas that exist in Ukraine (the first is Panorama “Defense of Sevastopol 1854—1855”) and is complete a valuable panorama with a subject plan and a circular view unlike dioramas.
