Museum-estate of Andriy Malyshko

Museum-estate of Andriy Malyshko — in the city of Obukhov, Kyiv region. The exposition of the museum is devoted to the life and work of the Ukrainian poet Andriy Samiylovich Malyshko, as well as the ethnography of the South Kyiv region.The museum is located in the house where the smallest of the children, the future poet Andrey Malyshko, was born in the family of the shoemaker Samiil Malyshko Co. The hut is located on the outskirts of modern Obukhov on Andrey Malyshka Street. The Andriy Malyshko estate museum-estate in Obukhov was opened in February 1991 by the joint efforts of the widow of the poet Lyubov Vasilyevna Zabashta and his niece Olga Sergeevna Malyshko with the assistance of Obukhko City Council. During a tour of the museum, in particular for schoolchildren, a specialist worker of the institution tells about the childhood and youth of the poet, who spent in one of the picturesque corners of Obukhov, his family, life and work outside the father's house. Among the interesting exhibits related to Andriy Malyshko are a desk with a typewriter, books and personal belongings of the poet.In addition, in the estate museum you can get acquainted with the ethnography of the southern Kiev region.
