Ternopil Regional Art Museum

The permanent exposition is built according to the historical and chronological principle and represents the art of Ukraine and the countries of Western Europe. Among the outstanding exhibits of Ukrainian art are icons of the XVII—XIX centuries, carvings of I. Pinzell, and A. Osinsky, parson portraits, old prints with engravings of the 18th century.In 1993—1995, an artist and restorer from New York, a native of Ternopil, Dionysiy Sholdra, worked in the museum, who donated 50 paintings for the museum and laid the foundations of the restoration work. In September 1998, the Memorial Hall of D. Shuldra, in which works, photographs and documents, restoration tools and materials, personal belongings of the artist are exhibited.
